Title: F/S My V6 GLS
Post by: Omega_Dan on 28 February 2012, 20:49:41
Reluctant sale of my much loved car. started out as a standard gls but have done my best to make the car stand out and suit most tastes.

December 2000 X reg 2.5 V6 GLS Auto

MOT 14/12/2012
TAX 31/03/2012

Current mileage is 53490 but will go up slightly.

Full Service history by vauxhall up to 2007 then by local garage until i bought it september 2010.

Work done since my ownership

October 2010 40k - Cambelt, tensioner and water pump replaced with air filter and new oil and fitter

December 2010 41k New brakes pipes (OSR and NSR) pollen filter replaced.

February 2011 42k New Vx Front pads and discs, cam cover gaskets replaced, breathers cleaned, oil and filter change

June 2011 45k rear pads and discs replaced, oil and filter change

September 2011 48k Front Droplinks replaced with new wishbones and bushes.

October 2011 49k Air con regassed, oil and filter change. Door bushes done

November 2011 50k new windscreen

December 51k 2011 spark plugs replaced and oil and filter changed

External changes

Fitted with MV6 Wheels with excellent tyres. Only covered approx 3000 miles

Prodrive rear spoiler

Lowered on spax springs by 40mm at front and 30mm at back

Debadged grill with Irmscher Badge.

Led White bulbs n interior door lights and in main cabin light.

Powerflow backbox. Not loud just looks great and compliments the V6

Chipped ECU for better mpg and performance

GLS badges removed.

Condition wise with the exception of a small shallow ding on the bonnet its amazing for the year.

Car has been clayed, polished, supagarded and waxed. I keep on top by waxing every 6 to 8 weeks with very high grade wax and polishing with every 3rd wax.

Interior is very nice and clean. all electrics work. full set of tailored mats with overeats. spare wheel and tool kit all present. tyre in new.

It drives beautifully. gear changes spot on. tyre wear all even ect

Only negatives are only have 1 key and passenger door lock is intermittent but i have a replacement included.
Drivers side manifold gasket started to blow slightly when cold but goes when warm.

its been my pride and joy for the past 18 months and would be great if it would go to a good home.

Ive spent over £1000 in maintenance, approx £600 on cosmetic items and £100's on the best cleaning products just for the mig,

I have a set of front fog lights included in the sale.

Please note: I have misplaced the log book but i am only the 2nd owner. currently in process of applying for replacement.

The interior picture is an old one but its still just as clean

I want £1000 for the car. this is the least i will accept for it. its worth it for someone wanting a properly cherished omega with a few subtle changes to lose the GLS effect ;D

Thanks for reading

Dan

I know one is not supposed to post idle chat on these posts but that is a lot of car for a grand. Just think what else you could buy for £1000, not much. Makes me quite sad.
