Title: Headlight beam adjustment.
Post by: smokingomega on 29 February 2012, 18:04:04
Hi all.
Does anyone know the correct position for the headlight adjustment beams inside the headlight?
Am I right in thinking the o/s should be flat an the n/s flicked up towards the n/s?
Sounds confusing but hope you know what i mean
Think they are continental beam adjusters?
Thanks

According to the manual

Left hand drive
Left hand headlamp = down
Right hand headlamp = up

Right hand drive
Left hand headlamp = up
Right hand headlamp = down

Check light/dark limits of dipped beam
(e.g. In front of wall)
Horizontal = symmetrical
Angled upwards = asymmetrical

If this makes sence written word for word from my manaul

Nope .. the assymetric "kick" on the left side enables you to see the kerb, cyclists, pedestrians etc etc better. Remember .... this light pattern ONLY occurs on dipped beam
