Title: Marangoni
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 29 February 2012, 22:19:38
Any good?.

I've read positive reports about these Italian tyres.

£96 each (fitted)......for 235/45/17.

About 50% cheaper than equivalent.....Michelin .....Goodyear.

I've heard good (first hand, not magazine) reviews of the Zeta Linea, I was very tempted to try them on the other car recently.

mythos better than avg tires.. good on dry braking, weak on lateral g and wet braking..

zeta linea dry ok.. wet weak.. snow failure..

if you are planning to use these tires whole year , you must be slow in autumn ,spring and winter.. :-\

Chris , this tire is weak on wet roads.. and I think you will have rain on at least 3 seasons..

Yes, this is the one, Cem. From what I read their overall performance seems to be acceptable.

Opti, if you are going to use this tire whole year (all season) I would check this tire

http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vredestein/Quatrac-3.htm (http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vredestein/Quatrac-3.htm) very good on both wet and dry..

235 45 17 size about 115-120 £ (sorry) but you wont look back imo.. :y

Seems like a good tyre, Cem. But at £120 they're almost as expensive as the original equipment  Michelin Primacy HP tyres that she came with. I'm pretty impressed with the Michelin's .........and they seem to last forever..... :y :y
