"Electrical
Cut off the auto selector switch connector.
Starter inhibit
Join the two thick Bk/R wires by soldering.
Reverse Lights
Separate the reverse switch wires from the donor loom and solder one side to the Bk wire (was on pin D) solder the other side to the W/Bk wire (was on pin F)
Lambda sensors
Plug-in the Lambda sensors, the auto loom is a bit short so move the connector fixing clips and tyrap the loom in place clear of hot bits. Tie up unused connectors and loom ends"
how d'you know which pin F or D is in the case of the reverse lights?
thanks
alex

It won't matter what way you connect them, it's just a switch that connects the two together when reverse is selected.

teach ecu that it's now a manual
remove wires from loom
remove controller and unused contacts behind centre console

i thought it'd be less messing to rip ecu out and tell engine ecu its a manual, solder starter inhibitor wires together n sort pin F and D so i have the reverse lights lol, opps cruise control :P

i have just brought a y plate mv6 estate that was a 2.6 auto and now has a 3.2 manual in it the conversion was done by someone else robseymv6. i would like to retro fit cruise control what will i need or will the wiring loom still be in place and i will only need new switches and a possible visit to a tech2 ?
