Title: 1st class customer service
Post by: venom on 05 March 2012, 17:42:36
I have had a nightmare with my current insurance company since I change the cars over they charged me £100  :o :o :o :o :o :o admin fee for doing so >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( now bearing in mind they are both 2.5v6, both 1998, both the same bloody colour the only difference is the old one is a CDX & the new one is an Elite so no change in premium & so I contacted them & got no where so asked how much to cancel my policy & was told £174, I wasn't best pleased.

In Abingdon there is an insurance broker called A-Plan & it has people in the office that you can see & speak to  :) so I thought I'd see what they could offer me & it just shows you what happens if you can speak to someone face to face & they offered sorted me out a Fully comp policy for £44 (£10 a month cheaper) & only a £100 excess (my old one was £400) £60 glass excess (£15 cheaper than my old one) & courtesy car, but the bit that gob smacked me was the manager will pay half my cancellation fee & gave me a cheque on the spot (after I showed him the email stating the cancellation fee off of my phone) now I think that is service :y :y

Yes, ive always had good prices from Aplan.....even when i had 4 cars all on taxi insurance....

Altho once they did need a push in the right direction....i had 3 cars at approx £800 each ....they tried to charge me £1200 to renew my omega.....i had to suggest they would loose all the cars if they couldnt do better for my omega......suddenly my omega was £800  :y ;D
