Title: Control + Alt + Delete - SouthWest Trains style
Post by: pscocoa on 05 March 2012, 19:22:28
The 7.30am from Farnborough to Waterloo is non stop and takes just over 30 mins.

Not today - after slow running the train came to a complete stop - Announcement apologising that it was necessary to "reboot the train". All power off - a/c, lights etc. Then power back on and made it into Waterloo by taking all available power to serve traction motors and cutting out some on board services.

A lot of those Siemens units are hugely unreliable, some of them lasted just 5k miles before breaking down  :o

Slam doors went 60k easy!
