I watched this and quite enjoyed it.
That three wheeler Morgan looked a lot of fun. Whoever was driving it for the cornering test showed some bottle! They should have had a fourth car (Westfield?) for our Mr Wood
I also liked the "plane" engined cars. I actually saw something like that racing at Rufforth(near York) must have been in the late sixties. It was fast on the straights but rubbish on the corners.

I was fortunate enough to be at the filming for this episode, the BMW Brutus was incredible, at the end of the show they drove it out of the studio to take it away in a trailer. The noise when it started up was LOUD !! There was a sort of removable cover over the exhaust but they chose not to put it on. I got this photo just as they turned the corner then it went fish tailing up the road setting off car alarms as it went and spitting flames !!

It's still about. Mr Dodd, now lives in Malaga area and does take it out every now and then, but not much more than car park shows. I have an email from him saying I'm welcome to go visit and he will gladly fire it up any time, with prior warning of course. I may just do that one day soon.
I remember seeing it in it's original body, designed along the lines of a Capri in a fetching red colour, now though its very american looking and a beige colour. If I do go I'll get pics and post them up.

I remember the story about on the autobahn years ago. Guy doing about 150 and this thing with a RR grill came up behind him and flashed to overtake then left him for dead. Wrote to RR saying he wanted one and that's why all his troubles started
I saw the other video's on youtube with his daughter following him around in 2009.
If I had that invite and a 3 hour trip I would be there. Do it mate
This will help
