Post by: MutantCav on 28 March 2008, 09:33:08
Can anyone tell me where buys just the cats?? Roughly how much will I get and can just the cat bit be cut off or will they want the pipework too...preferably lincs area, or Londonish...but anywhere really as I can just store them and take a load when its worth it...

any scrap dealer......and if they are genuine then they will give you good money for them as well  :y

I got £45 for one of mine, so long as it doesn't rattle and has a GM stamp on it

No its a fair question...think the guy who recommended the place in Lincoln said his were broke, but maybe it depends on the scrappy...although I suspect the scrappies strip the precious metals out of the cats and make their money that way..

I was going to say, for 130 quid I'll bite their hand off. Be wight round with Mrs. KW's waste of flesh and fur. Save me a fortune in Kit-e-Kat and stop my carpets getting shredded.  :y

Yeah, I know she came from CPL in the first place. Just joking. She's probably around 8 years old IIRC (and climbing on me as I type so excuse the typos).
