How big a job is it to change the pollen filter housing as the clips have been broken off my Elite one but the one in my old CDX is fine but I can't work out how to remove them :y
-
think a good few hours getting all the bits out to undo them.
think its glove box out, and some bolts behind there. and need some sealer when putting back on. but thought the clips, clip in them self, slot on the side??

That's the filter changed. ;)
I suspect the housing will be a bit more of a challenge. Someone who's broken a few Omegas will probably have an idea how it all comes apart.

Duct tape mate ;)

I don't consider myself a "bodger", but given the fact that replacing the clips is a pita, and that the filter is not seen, I would be fitting some "custom" clips. I would probably go for something like a picture frame, fitted with turnbuckles. ::)

Yep, improvise something that's better than Vx put there. Imagine your frustration if you went to all the trouble to fit a replacement with intact clips, then they broke off next time you changed filters?
Gaffer tape was my solution, but there must be a nearly-as-easy-but-much-neater solution. :y
