Title: Shouldn't of done that.
Post by: flymofred on 08 March 2012, 11:58:50
'53' plate 2.6 Elite Estate. Just loving up my new Miggy swapping the side lights last night. Looked in the fuse box above the battery, as it looked a bit grubby I pulled the fuses out to clean the contacts that's the 4 x 80amps and 1 x 30amps. Heart attack this morning. Started fine drove off  no warnings up, realised the clock on zero (now reset)and SAFE on the display. The car's fitted with Philips CCR 2006 player. I see in the hand book these fuses take out 'major parts of the electrical system'. The ignition was off when I pulled the fuses. Help.

Thanks Martin
