Steady motorway run at national speed limit - 40mpg.
A run on "a" roads, 'on the turbo' quite a lot, 35mpg
Steady A road run, 37mpg.
Unchipped, possible bit of a boost leak.

Considering the extra cost of derv, not much savings there :-\

What do others get from their Omegas, 3.2, 2.6, 2.2 etc?
There's a price difference around here of 7-8p or 32-36p a gallon.
Burt returns over 42mpg urban combined & more at motorway speeds with the cruise on :)

Day to day, I got an average (over 1000s of miles) of high 20s from my auto tractor. Low-mid 30s when chipped.
Don't go by MID, woefully inaccurate on TDs - mine once reported over 800 miles range - esp when chipped.
In reality, I used to get about 450m from a tank, as opposed to 350 from the MV6, so not much in it for running costs

Probably would be for most people - you're the only person I know driving a 70mpg 3.2 V6 ;D
If those are real (fill to fill) calculated mpg then it's a lot better than my 22 around town and 28 at a steady cruise in the 3.2, and a lot better than the 19 around town and 25 steady cruise I got in the old 2.5TD..

I'm getting standard 3.2 consumption now I think, can get about 350 from a tank before red light comes on.
Although, I've yet to press that S button! ;D - No joke, I've genuinely not used it :o

Not my standard ::) I rarely got over 300 from my 3.2 in the month I was running it on petrol :-X :-X Hence why the LPG was such a saving :y

Need to sort my engine idle pressure issue, then maybe think about LPG :)

Absolutely... You know my suggestions. Get it running perfectly then think about it ;)
Incidentally, if things I have planned work out then I might well be more able to commit to more in the future. The next 8-12 weeks will tell ;)

If I got 350m from a tank in my 3.2, I'd be fully clenched on the way to petrol station, as the range would have hit zero some time ago...

Ditto! I get about 250 around town, 300 on a run if I'm lucky. I think I did once see 330 out of a tank and that was to Huddersfield and (part way) back at 60/70mph all the way!

have had 420 to a tank on my 3.2. 4 of us, fully loaded. Motorway and a roads...
