Both bulbs have been replaced a few times to make sure its not bulb related. Right hand light lights up later than left, sometimes does not fire up at all, sometimes after a few seconds, most of the time it lights ok. Busted ballast or what? New ballast is probably very expensive? Any ways to know for sure its ballast? And any ways to make sure a second hand one is working? Only one type available, so left and right side are similar?

Swap the ballasts over to prove whether one is dodgy. I`ve got a known good ballast here. Postage shouldn`t be a great deal to Finland & yes, both sides are the same
