Title: 2003 astra 1.7dti eco4
Post by: Omega_Dan on 13 March 2012, 20:19:56
Im planning on one of these for my next car. Dont know a great deal about them apart from there 30 quid a year to tax and generally good for high mileage. Found a couple for between a grand and £1500 with sensible mileage.

Anyone have any opinions on these engines?

Road tax won't be £30 that's for sure. However they're good cars, the 1.7 gives very good fuel economy, and Was always reliable for me, had four of those engines, only had a fuel pump ecu go wrong on one of them.
