Title: slow tickover on v6

Hi all
I've noticed thast the tickover on my v6 seems to be running slow no more than 550revs and is on the verge of lumpy,no other probs pickup is fine for an engine that has done 110,000 mls.Just done 600 mls returning home to france and she didnt miss a beat so would appreciate any comments as to what the problem might be  :y

Sounds spot on to me.  ;) ;) ;) 'Lumpy' could be due to your idle air control valve needing cleaning.  ;)

V6 should be about 450 for pre 2001 cars and A/C off, and about 550 for post 2001 (irrespective of A/C), or with A/C on on pre 2001.
