Title: MOT History Check
Post by: doz on 15 March 2012, 22:32:26
Just been on government website and done a MOT history check on my Mig. My poor car must have a identity crisis going on. She's had two private plates in her life. In fact she was registered from new with one on. Loads of cool information you can decode from there. failed one MOT on a snapped rear spring and another one or corroded brake lines. Oh and lots of "Adult seatbelt not checked as child seat fitted". Still no major failures.

Rear coil spring common failures because of our shite roads, can easily drive with knowing one has snapped.

I towed another Omega on an A frame from Wembley to my place last year with a broken rear spring on mine - not the pigtail, but the last one and a half coils missing.Ive never been so scared while driving so slow.It was terrifying doing 50 on the A12.Needed all 3 lanes to get it straight sometimes after the car being towed decided it wanted to have a go at steering. :o ::) ;D ;D
