I've noticed that on start up the display unit for the head unit displays 'Bose Sound' briefly - I thought the Bose audio system was only available on Elites? Can anyone shed any light on this as even the brochures I have don't list the Bose setup as an optional extra for a CDX.
My car is an early full-facelift CDX V6, with CCR-2006 head unit.
Cheers

Have you got Bose speakers on the rear parcel shelf?
-
No parcel shelf - its an estate. Where would the subwoofers be hidden in the estate?
-
In a panel on the left as you look in iirc
-
Cheers will have a look later.

Sorry should have noticed it was an estate :-[

You have a picky of everything else ;D ;D ;D

No Bose subwoofers but there is wiring in both sides with nothing connected to the end.
???

Send a PM to "Jimbob" with your reg.no. and ask him if he could check whether Bose was fitted at the factory, if fitted, sub & amp may have been removed by previous owner
-
Will do, need to search through the paperwork though to find the original reg number.

VIN number should suffice
-
suspect the ccr2006 isn't original ;)
-
As TB says, the CCR2006 can be programmed for Bose with Tech 2 so if yours has developed a fault at some point which is common and been replaced, its possible the new one may have come from an Elite

Mystery solved - going through all the paperwork there is a receipt for a replacement CCR-2006 fitted and coded. Still not sure what the wiring is behind the boot panels though ???
Thanks for the suggestions folks.
