Title: Saw these Goats today
Post by: Varche on 17 March 2012, 18:53:09
Had to go pretty high up(1600 metres above sea level) and very remote but worth the jaunt. Did 70km and saw one other vehicle in four hours

Pretty rare animals that a lot of our Spanish neighbours have never seen. Seen them in smaller numbers before but never as many as 16. They are Hispanic Cabra (mountain goats)

That is a fault with the photographer methinks! ;D ;D ;D

It is the season for domestic goat births here and the speciality is Chotto. That is kid goat stew. Lovely with a bottle of Rioja :y
