had too happen i guess...this mob have nothing left to get rid off..mind whos buying no one got any money
-
Heard they are even thinking of taxing the profit you make when we sell our house for more than we paid for them..when we want to move on to another property.......But i remember back in the sixties when all your white goods and luxury goods..t vs. and such had 25% tax on them.....Oh shut my gob as they may read this and do it again.......they are all wiily wonkers...(cant spell ).
-
Only 20% VAT now bargain :o :o :o
-
Proposed more toll roads >:( >:( >:( more money out of our pockets ::) ::)
-
So huge fuel costs, huge tax prices, and now more & more toll roads, the man is a complete and utter wan*er!
-
VAT 22% ? on Wednesday.
Roads. Sell em to the Frenchies. They have everything else like our nuclear power and electric. No reason why the Uk needs to retain ownership of its infrastructure. ;D ;D ;D
Charge everyone for using the roads they paid for already. In fact lets have an M25 tax. Only paid by folk living inside the M25. :y
Just who is actually going to have the money to build new roads?(apart from the Chinese)
-
who voted them ::)
-
so remind me why do we pay road tax?
-
If road tax was just a nominal sum and fuel taxes were reasonable, then there would be a case for toll roads, so the infrastructure was built as this country badly need more roads and major improvements to many existing major roads.
But as road taxes are high and fuel taxes are enormous then there will be massive resentment and boycotting of toll roads as, quite rightly, we all feel we are paying twice. >:( >:( >:(
LibCons can fool some people some of the time, but not on this one. >:( >:( >:(
-
so remind me why do we pay road tax?
It was introduced in the early thirties when the government realised cars were a huge New resource they could tax.
The money raised that way has NEVER been allocated for road and travel expenditure, as government accounting doesn't work that way.
-
I vividly remember the whoops of joy on this forum when Brown & Co. were ousted :P
-
that is a way to get us to use A roads thats what will happen because people wont want to pay again :y :y :y :y :y

You're missing the point, old bean. It's a conservative government, so people who can afford to pay get their own roads. No omegas allowed, sorry ;D
-
that leaves us out not rich :y :y :y :y
-
Thats it it wont take much more and im of to aussie land had the chance 10-15 years ago dam why didnt i. This will always happen in this country because we dont fight for anything me included we dont stick together. People in 100 years in this country will still be moaning and saying we should do something about it. What a load of POO. >:( >:( >:(

I hate to agree with you, but I remember those days as well..... :D :D I am not politically strong and could see the bad in the old, but the new, they seem to me, to have no understanding at all of every day folk.... >:( and as an average working man my wages have dropped and everything else has gone up...there has to be a tipping point, and I can't be alone in that situation...... :( :( :(
-
Yep i agree but hasnt there always been a tipping point. The MPs are very clever just get to tipping point for the likes of me and you and thats it AND. Because they are very clever with there words the say things that might change things for the better which very rarely happens and the circle starts again. Bloody el im turning into David Ike dont laugh but i think this guy makes alot of sense.
-
I was one of those whopping and cheering at the demise of Brown & co. I Still believe they were the worst govt. this country has ever seen. The damage they did in so many areas could never be put right.
Ive never been a fan of Cameron & co. and consider them to be pretty useless, but I dont believe they will ever come close to being as bad a Govt. as the last lot.
-
I am angry. In short.

I have to agree with every word :y
-
I think this is 100% the most awful government we've had. I totally agree that Brown and his lot were pretty dire, but this lot are even worse, which I suppose is there greatest achievement.
-
Lets see what they can give us back in the budget :-X What a shower of *osser's >:(

They'll probably give us the excellent news that fuel will only rise by 2p, instead of 6p, this is only used as an example, but everyone thinks oh, it's 2p instead of 6p well done the government. I was watching something the other day where they mentioned the fact that 80 something pence goes to the government for every litre of fuel purchased.
-
Only 80p ::) yeah i know its always been a lot they grab back , oh and all of it going to cover road repairs ...pot hole city here and one that wrecked my front suspension and wheel >:( put a claim into the council and was told no way as we checked the road 6 months ago and it was ok then >:(
-
I warn you....things will get worse...much worse.
-

I'm sure they will, Steve. I have no time for this shower at all, but none for Labour either. They're all a bunch of self-serving halfwits. ::) ::)
We need a complete overhaul of our political system.
