Title: Rear wiper estate running constant...

Hi all is it possable to make the rear wiper on a 99 estate run intermitant??

as it running constant in the rain can be a pain switching on & off just to do a couple of whipes every 30secs as it judders up glass if not enuf spray on glass...

oh also what size wiper is it on rear that will clean all the screen in wiper arch...?

because ive tryed 12" 14" 16" & cut down 18"19" to clear that anoying little area at bottom of glass & area at the top of screen in your eye line...??

have you changed the relay?
mine only comes on every 30sec's relay in fuse box.

Nope its how it came from police, i didnt want to mess with it incase i screwed up the wash wipe function...???

Sounds to me like the relay has been changed, either on purpose or by mistake, post up the part number on the relay.

Edit. Or the relay has arced up some of its contacts.
