Title: Oil change

Going to do oil change and filter today. Know how to do it all but need to know what kind of oil to use.
Engine is 99 3.0 v6

10/40 semi or fully synthetic  :y

Thanks Rob will bear that in mind -- Having the doughnuts done tomorrow so hears hoping that's the end of that rather knocking.  :y :y

V6 takes more than 5 litres though. TC offer of 4 for 3 allows for three full changes iirc (haven't done mine yet  :-[)

Is there any truth that oil can seperate if kept for a long time.

Best thing to do is to go to a vauxhall dealership, state car model, age and mileage - they will give you the bits you need, always use main dealers though, cheaper than you may think!
