is the instrument panel off a 2.5 saloon configured the same as a 2.5 estate.im just thinking this could be the reason i have such a high fuel consumption.i have swapped the inst panel out of my 2.5 elite saloon(soon to be scrapped) and put it into the 2.5 cdx estate.i only get 13 mpg out of the estate and was just wondering if the panels are not configured the same then i could be getting false readings.probably a really blonde :D question but im stumped as to why i need shares in bp to run this beast.cheers guys over to you :y

13mpg!! thought my 2.6 was bad LOL :D
Defo something not right there. assuming that your not pedal-to-the-metal all the time.
Someone will have to confirm this, but I think it may need a Tech2 talking to?

could it be a faulty reading from the fuel sender unit or are the fuel gauge and display on different circuits
