Title: H's moonwalk
Post by: feeutfo on 23 March 2012, 23:27:13
After some members wanted to show much appreciated interest last year, H has asked me to post a link to her sponsorship page for her Moonwalk in aid of breast cancer. Full marathon length this time, through the streets of London over night.

http://www.walkthewalkfundraising.org/Helen_Stevens

H, Mrs Lazydocker,(link to follow) and a few others not connected to the forum are taking part.  :y

Now being a Grumpy old bugger, I'm not sure weather to post it here, it's a bit forward and pestering people for money IMO, we all have financial issues to deal with ATM. So don't feel pressured into anything.

It is a good cause though, so you decide.

Thanks for reading.  :)

do i tick this bit not sure.

I am a UK taxpayer, and wish Walk the Walk to claim Gift Aid on my donation

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must equal the amount Walk the Walk will claim in the tax year.

yes mate, if you pay tax in the uk, tick the box. Means the charity can claim the tax back. Thank you from H.  :-*

All in a good cause. Thought on the way home last night, as temp hit 0C, hope the Moonwalkers can keep warm enough, hopefully warmer in the Big Smoke

Yep all the Girls said it was very cold at night. Emma and H where very cold when they got back here certainly. Some blistered feet and emotional moments. But ultimately, delighted with the mission accomplished. :y

Rightly, they (all) deserve a feeling of accomplishment.

Well done to all the walkers.

Emma slept most of the way home this evening and then stumbled through the front door and into the bed ::)

She's still a bit emotional, although some of that may also be the other news we've had today, but the joints are freeing up :y

Thanks all for the good wishes :y

Was a tad bracing in the roller skate. ::) No doubt that dodgy bra electrics kept them warm though.  ;D

Well done H&E! :D

Electrics where useless by less than an hour past the start line apparently. Hopeless Chinese rubbish.
