Eyewitness said the house was empty as the owners are on holiday.

Other "expert" interviewed on BBC News 24 reckoned it may have been a Cessna Citation corporate jet.

The dead have not been officially identified but are believed to include ex-touring car champion David Leslie and racing team owner Richard Lloyd.

I just found out that the 5th passenger was a good friend of mine from University.

Absolutely devastated.

Sorry to hear that, mate. I can't imagine what it must be to lose a friend in such horrific circumstances.  :'(
