Hi,
Is there a way of disabling the braking feature of cruise control?
For example if I set the CC at 60mph and approach a downwards hill, the car brakes - which is normal.
But is there a way to set the speed to 60mph, but when it senses a downward hill (i.e. speed increases over 60mph)
then it does not apply the brakes to bring the speed back to 60mph.
I was thinking there must be a signal that tells the car to apply the brakes, in the same way it tells the car to speed up.
Cheers,

Don't think it aplies the brake.....could be wrong thought it did it through engine..

correct - no braking applied through the cruise - only engine braking

Omega's cruise, like all cruise from the era is, err, Cruise Control/Speed Hold. It is not Distance Control or anything like that. It can not and does not apply brakes.

Manually change down a gear (or two), it'll hold the set speed then. :y
