Title: Interior change
Post by: MrMoffat on 30 March 2012, 09:10:33
A successful change of interior over the past few days,  :y all started with heated seat failure of the front passenger seat and a not very happy Mrs. Moffat  :'( All is now smiles again  :) and is loving the new comfort  ;)
My thanks to twiglet for  supplying the interior and all the advice and help he has given :y and also to TheBoy for his patience and help with his wiring diagram alteration for the drivers seat  :y Everything now is fully functioning  8)
A very happy bunny indeed.  :y  8)
Now going to concentrate on the paintwork, any ideas anyone with faded red paint  anyone :(

Nice job mate looks very tidy ,I had a red
Astra that lost its colour I used t-cut then a good
Polish with auto glym super resin polish
That did the trick  :y
Also try to keep up with it then with a extra gloss protection

Thanks guy's, initially I tried to exclude the paintwork when I posted photo's of my interior change due to the very poor & dull paint work, actually I was ashamed of it  :-[  So I needed to get some more polish from my trade auto-factors, but when asked for my usual ' Auto Glym' the guy said I can truly recommend 'Muc Off' with a Bring it back for a full refund, if your not 100% happy with it!  :o  So I decided to give it a try  :-\
Well as you can see from the photo's it is absolutely brilliant  :o  :y cleans plastic, chrome almost everything  :y Now it is not cheap, cost me just under a tenner for 500ml and used about a quarter of a bottle, absolutely worth every penny in my opinion.  :y
I have found some on Amazon as a guide for £11.79 but try at your local trade/motor-factor  ;)
I can truly recommend this product as can been seen above on my old miggy.  :y  :y  :y

Muc Off is great stuff. I use their body shampoo called Ubershine. Great stuff and really quite cheap too if you buy it from Screwfix. Highly recommended! Car is looking lovely - don't see many red Omegas!

I have a full cloth interior in good condition if interested. Its out of a 2000 CDX.  No rips or tears and both heated front seats work :)
