Think I must be having a senior moment. We are looking at buying an Astra G around 98-02 for my son. Looked at couple, and can't find the jack/wheelbrace etc.
Would any of you knowlegeable people have any idea where it is supposed to be please.
Thanks in advance.

It differs, most have them in a circular foam holder which fits in the spare wheel.
Have seen one where it was underneath the spare wheel in a bag.

also can be found on left side of boot tied in to a recess...
(daughter has just such a vehicle.... Jack is to the left of boot in a recess below the parcel shelf, wheel brace in a black bag thing with screw driver , in spare wheel well. )

In all Astra Gs I've seen, the jack & the poxy GM supplied wheel brace live under the spare wheel - wedged in the bracket the spare wheel is bolted to. :y

Spot on Mr V6, I was looking all over the floor behind rear light access panels even under the bonnet. Thank You all for the guidance.

They work fine as long as some tyre fitting monkey has not blasted the wheel bolts with the windy gun! :y
