That would been illegal ;) the mounting bracket turns so the boy can play or watch flims :y
will get some more photos with the ipad in place later if i get a chance.
Thanks bear.

I can imagine that being not at all distracting at night (or even day for that matter). ::)
Suddenly that womans idea of decanting fuel at home doesnt seem such a bad idea!

Me thinks that you'll find yourself having a none too friendly chat with Mr Plod before too long ::)
Best make sure that the holder is empty the instant you have a prang, else you'll be bent right over ready for the consequences :'(

Agree.
Its just asking for trouble. Either in the way of a crash or insurance or police issues. Seems to me a daft idea to locate a 10 inch screen right under your nose as you drive along. Surely a iphone is enough as a sat nav tool.
I get distracted (by the light) if my son watches a movie on the ipad whilst in his car seat in the rear. I cannot imagine how distracting this will be. Its also not unusual for the police or insurers to check car forums immediately after a crash to ascertain mods to a car, especially if the accident involves a fatality.
I wish you all the best, but to me it seems silly to locate an ipad there and sillier still to post it on a forum for all to see. Worse still, your reg no is there to link it to you (god forbid) in the event of the above happening.

Have the pictures been removed, as I can't see them? :-\

It appears the OP is no longer a member Dave ???

Well spotted Rob :y Guess I'll just go stand back in the corner ::) ;D ;D ;D

Think he may have taken the hump over criticism ???
-
Aye. It was a little bit uncalled for

Not sure that anything that out of order was said :-\
Petrol incidents notwithstanding, people have been far ruder. Hopefully he's deleted the pics and will be back with a new account having realised the implications of what he'd posted :y

Everyone has there own ideas and i had a look a few days ago at the pics .... but not for me :-\

Not seen the pictures, where was it mounted?
Kinda makes sense if you have kids in the back & you already own an iPad, pop a film on for them to keep them busy. Much like DVD head rests. Be ok if its mounted behind your field of vision, near the arm rest looking back?
Unless it was mounted in the front? Can't access the pictures :-\

If you read back he said it was tilted away so he couldn't see it when his nipper was watching a film. He hadn't done anything wrong in my books. My LC has a 7" motorised pioneer screen in the front for my sat nav. It's excellent and yes you can watch films as well if you like. I don't see being a issue but hey you never know on here.

Yes tunnie, it was mounted in the front, centre of the dash, on a swivel bracket. Obviously suited ops needs and he had made the fitting to cope with his idea. Would allow for enlarged sat nav capability for the driver, or alternatively entertainment for the passenger.
Each to their own I guess :-\
