Hi all,
As above really.... been reading through the guide as that is one of my next jobs over the next month or two.
If not, no worries just would be interesting and relevant to look throu :)

Just very, very roughly speaking are we saying that once we get the cam covers off it's just a case of unscrewing everything in that area until you get to the cylinders?

Once you take the heads off yup 8)

Remember it's advisable to remove head bolts in the order that you fit them. :y

after the cam covers off, theres still too many to take out..( at least for me ;D ) cams must be numbered , also the lifters.. and if you purchase new head bolts it will be better..
and imo, putting them back is harder so you take notes and use some labelling.. heads are heavy and not easy to fit be carefull not to skate them..

if you use the same head bolts remember you cant torque them as the original spec as they may get longer.. as much as possible
and there is a sequence (order) to torque

So the head tightens down evenly against the block and seals the gasket evenly also 8)
