Bought a set of 7.5 rims and am just wondering what width tyre fits them perfect.
Anywhere I ask they say. "you would fit a xxx tyre on that"
I want to know what is the actual tyre for that?
Cheers

Probably because there is no 'right'..
If you've departed from a manufacturer supplied size then you've got to take your pick of whatever tyres produce the right rolling radius and are appropriate for that rim width given their profile & construction. Tyre manufacturers will tell you which of their tyres are appropriate - e.g. Toyo suggest 225/45R17, 235/50ZR17, 235/55ZR17 all have an 'ideal' rim width of 7.5 but many others are acceptable and tested - and that's just for 17" wheels, for 15, 16, 18 etc it'll be different as the profile will generally be different.
So .. if it's going on an Omega and they're 17" wheels, stick to what Vauxhall intended - 235/45R17
