Title: Ouch
Post by: TheBoy on 12 April 2012, 18:24:57
Me bloody foot hurts again. No idea how. Was playing Mario last night, and it just started to ache. An hour later, hurt like hell.

Can't think what I've done  :-\

I had similar issue 2 years ago - had blood tests for diabetes, gout etc and nothing found - also xray. Might have been a bit of athritis I thought but pain just seems to have disappeared.

I think you should have the tests to be on safe side but if nothing found then mentally at least you are not worrying about the worst possibilities

At your recent gentle kiss of bodywork was said foot planted firmly upon the brake pedal at time of impact?

We joke about the pissed rubber men who are impervious to injury but if you were tensed then easy to get a recurrent some time after, aprticularly muscular/tendon.

But you have already had that checked and discounted, right??   :)    ;D

You wanna watch them painful feet. Mine started to ache and I had to have my ankle fused. I feel it was just coincidence it was about the same time i got flattened  by tractor while on my bike  ::) ::) ::)

could easily be a result of the back injury ,   nerve pressure , moving discs, and so on..

My foot started aching like bu663ry a couple of weeks back. Came on while I was sitting at my desk. Had to cancel a trip out with the local Campaign for Real Ale guys that evening because I couldn't walk from one pub to the next - so a real serious injury. ;D

Next morning it was fine.

Said foot had a broken bone about 20 years ago (climbing a gate - short cut to - yep, you guessed it. The pub. ;D ). No idea if related. :-\

As said, it could easily be back related ;)

You know how far my sciatic pain went :(

I've had a similar problem for over 2 months now with my left foot - just started aching one day and got progressively worse until I could barely walk on it. Slight swelling and redness but doctors still unsure what the cause is, had a test for gout and that was clear. Doc thinks it may be onset of arthritis as I already have it in some joints but tests still ongoing.
Bizarre!! :-\

From your description there's a good chance it was ;)

But it could still be related to the spine

There are a mirriad of symptoms that can "radiate" from the spine to the extremeties and cause pain. I get it often. Usually while completely still. I haven't moved, or been injured, yet pain arrives for no reason.

You have nerve prsessure in your spine...FFS get it seen to!

but in matters of the spine...  no pain will not necessarily pass ...   get it properly fixed or you'll be living with this shit for the rest of your life...     hell you might be anyway....    but  ::)

suspects TB's saying that to wind certain members up, myself included....    he knows we get all uppity and gobby when he exhibits self destructive idiocy...  and that  we're rather entertaining when doing so....
