Hello my helping hero's...
Yep, it's me again!!! ::)
Just got back from a drive and after a run at M-way speeds, my car has a strange judder when I stop at a junction and then pull off.
I don't think it's a miss-fire, idles fine and seems to be good at speed, it's just at initial pulling off in 1st????

Flywheel?
-
could be propshaft mounting loose
-
Oh god I hope it's not the flywheel!
I would think that if it was a mount, I'd get noise/judder all the time???
I'm starting to think it could be the clutch but it got a new one less than 500 miles ago???
-
i have a vw golf also and that was diagnosed with faulty dual mass flywheel causing the judder.

Ir ought not to... have you got a fluid leak, or is it just worn out?

I fitted the clutch but when I took the old one out, well, it more like fell out....
I was worried about the flywheel surface and took a gamble on it...

no dont have fluid leak always dose it if not been on motorway, round town and out of town never dose it just on long trip on motorway till junction stop then fine after that, once every 3-6 months go on motorway.

if i remember yours is explod with a slipper . my car does the same once warm i am going to do a diff oil change to see if it cures my judder when pulling away may be a cheaper option to try first

Yes, mine is Ex-Plod with an LSD. Didn't think it could be the diff???? I might try it too....

Ok, scratch judder, more like it dies just for a fraction of a second, does this a few times as I pull away after a run for a few miles at speed and then seems fine for a bit????
I am positive it's not the clutch.... Feels more like ignition or fuel??? Maybe even total power fail but I have no lights on the dash???? :-\
