My Omega has not been used much in the past month for various reasons, and yesterday had its first decent run (50 miles) for about a month.
I noticed that the heater blower is no longer working. Have tried (as it suggests in the manual) pressing 'off' and 'auto' at the same time, but to no avail.
I've tried to find a related fuse, but they all seem OK, though please tell me which ones are relevant, because the list of fuses doesn't seem to mention one called 'heater fan', or 'heater blower'.
Is the heater unit accessible for a quick look?
I'm thinking that if I'd just run it a few times over the past month it might not have failed.....
Please help.

I had this and got some really good help from robsymv6 here's what to di:
1)Pull off not hoses on the heater matrix have 2 hoses ready one cut down to drain and slide over bottom pipe then with a water hose connected to a water supply feed run water and place over top hose do that for a couple of minutes and swap the hoses over so you di it the reverse. Reconnect the heater matrix hoses back on and top up with coolant and water run car with heaters on full it worked on mine
2) Failing that check all vac pipes on the hbv espically one on top
Or
3) Could be your HBV failed but you would have coolant loss or a leak from back of the engine above gearbox
Come back with findings there is a guide here ill just find it :y

?? RTFP mate - Ops heater blower not working - nothing to do with matrix, HBV etc ??? ???
Op - to get at or remove heater blower you will need to remove glove box as its behind that - there is a howto (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90660.0)on here. The blower motor is held on with 3 or 4 torx screws and will come out if wiring tray removed and loom "bent" out of way. ;)

Thanks to everyone who contributed.
I tried the suggested 'press auto and off together', and it didn't make any difference. However, today, when driving, I twiddled the temperature control to 'Lo' (which I don't thnk I have done since the problem started), and the blower suddenly sprang into life.
My joy however was tempered when I then discovered that the AC was not working (no cold air). So it looks a re-gas may be needed (even though I had one done less than a year ago). My gut instinct is that if I had been using the car regularly, these problems wouldn't have occurred.
At least the re-gas is a known cost.
I'm trying to sell the car at the moment so don't want anything else to go wrong before I sell it.
I'll use it every day now to keep everthing turning over....
