Think maps are available for a cost, but not heard of turbo/injector enhancements for it.

The more powerful Omega 3.2 V6 24V MV6 4d Auto (LT) may provide a suitable donor engine for lower powered models. CarRef have been impressed by the Omega 2.2 DTi GLSs (especially the sporty ones!) They reward the tuner with even more power and a better ride. CarRef have been impressed with the remaps and boost controllers on the Omega 2.2 DTi GLS, and if you want to improve your top end go with an air induction filter. The Car Reference (CarRef) guide recommend that on the Omegas , you get an uprated OEM turbo which will further add to your power gains. For most turbo engines you will notice that power gains are much higher – they give a greater return on investment. It would seem that Vauxhall were not overly interested in producing a powerful version of the Omega. Top of your list for tuning mods will be a sports exhaust system, a fuel boost valve (for a snappy throttle response) and a good quality induction kit.

The next level of modifications involve taking more aggressive action. The Omega responds reasonably well to a fast road cam which is one of the best value mods out there. Turn your attention next to the Omega 2.2 DTi GLS engine head. With a good gas flowed ported engine you will see much better mid and peak range power and some owners have reported more economy.

The Omega come in various power levels right up to 217bhp. If you apply a few tuning mods to this model of Omega 2.2 DTi GLS you will see power gains from anywhere between 238.7bhp to 271.25bhp. Any more than this and you will start to see unreliability appearing.

No chance of 270 ish from a 2.2 dti 4 pot,.

A Polish friend of mine is currently running a 2.5Dti 24v 6 pot at 210 bhp (BMW Turbo, upgraded injecters and , cough, tuning box, un cough,) He reckons that about the limit for the 2.5 before destruction.

Chris.
