Hello,
It's been five days with the new old barge. A facelift 2.2 DTI CDX saloon.
I've already had a Basil Fawlty moment when I found the battery dead at 5am yesterday, pouring with rain (had enough juice to get the alarm going when I unlocked with the key mind).
Ah well, new battery, new wiper blades and now I just need to get the thermostat and fuel leak-off pipes changed, and an oil change. Oh, then the four ditch-finders need changing for proper tyres. And then the wandering steering needs sorting too.
Phew, I presume, like my old Rover 75, the list never gets shorter? :)
I'm impressed with the ride quality, the little design touches, the space and how well the interior has worn compared to more modern cars with their soft-touch plastics.
Anyway, glad I found this forum, it seems full of great information and nice people too.
