Howdy,
Anyone had any success at repainting cracked or worn leather? seen a few products thast require the leather being sanded right down but don't fancy doing this and found some aerosol vinyl/leather stuff from frost that you just spray on over the existing surface and wonder if anyone had experience ?, stupid work comp won't let me link but will do later.

Yeah, done it before, it's quite good, however it can crack quite easily.

I did the interior of a P6 many moons ago, and worked well. I bought an aerosol container to try it, it went nowhere so bought the paint and used an air brush to apply it, the leather was given a thorough clean with their cleaner first..........Just can't recall the manufacturer at the moment.... ::) ::)
The product worked and did not crack or split and took on the aged look on the seats quite quickly, would I do it again? no, it took forever..... :D :D :D

Agreed with all the above but i'll just add, make sure the leather is clean and well conditioned (soft and supple) before you use the stuff ;)
Baby oil works wonders on leather and is nice and cheap.
Best to do it on a nice hot day and leave it to soak in for a good 24 hours before you even think about messing around with colours :y
