Title: auto dimming mirror

hi i brought a auto dimming mirror from a car with a rain sensor i used the guide here but i seams to be different . when you turn the ing on the mirror instantly dimms and doesnt change back until the key is removed what have i done wrong ?

Wired it up wrong (assuming the unit isn't faulty) ;D

Retrace all connections.

the plug is differant to the one in the guide and the circuit board in the mirror doesnt have any markings to say what wires do what does anyone know the colour codes for the wires in this mirror please ?

Use the pinout from the 2nd post in guide.  Not sure if rainsensing one is completely different - if it is, I'd get the non rain sensing mirror
