52 on clock.i have no history.so do i need to do belt...tensioner.....pump...
do i need to go all vx parts only.....for the best out come

Yes to all imo. No history, better be safe than sorry.
Buy the video on here for £3 if you've never done it and want to do it yourself.... s'what i'm doing next :y
if not there's decent folk on here that will offer their services :y

With cambelt I believe pattern are ok. Gates and Contitec iirc (I have Gates fitted to mine). Even with history I would still do cambelt, aux belt, waterpump (not sure re: tensioner) but cant be bad can it?

An 02 plate with 52,000.... makes it a 2002 car... 10 years old
Every 4 years or 40,000.
So, its possibly 12,000 miles overdue or its 6 years overdue
Personally .. I would not take the risk ... change it before driving it.

Excellent advise there Entwood, I have seen far to many with bent valves at 40,000 mile intervals.
In answer to your question Do I need Vauxhall... No, but In my opinion you get what you pay for.

This is especially true with V6 Water Pumps at the moment, too...

Agreed - or sod's law will bite you in the arse. Don't forget to use the locking kit.
