Wrong keys? Maybe ignition barrel has been changed at some point?

Could be as The Boy suggests, but also due to lack of use. As you rarely need to use the key in the lock, things sieze up, try lubricating the locks, chain lub is quite good for this application.  :y :y

i thought it could be wrong keys, what would be the cost u think to change the door/boot locks and anything that has to be done to it.

Cheapest way would be a lockset from a breaker here I suspect.

Keep your immobiliser ECU, transponders and fobs, and electronically, you shouldn't upset immobiliser or alarm

i thought it could be wrong keys, ......

Try lub'ing the locks first!
If I replaced an ignition lock, I'd keep the original key for use in the other locks. My boot lock was next to impossible to open with the key till I lub'ed it.

Oddly, none of mine have ever seized...  ...but then because I keep fitting 2nd hand door motors, I frequently end up using the key ;D

On the drivers door lock, put the key in, and gentlly it turn to right, give it a wiggle, you should see a slight movement, very slight, on the door pop up button, is so then plenty of wd40 and go for it, if zero movement, then wrong key, locks been changed.

That's the answer to a slightly different question Kev  :y :y

A bucket load of microswitches won't make any difference if the barrel is siezed or the wrong key is used in it!  ;) ;)
