Title: A Fuel Tank Question
Post by: waspy on 06 May 2012, 09:01:24: Is the sender, feed & return line arrangement on top of the tank the same for a diesel & petrol (facelift, if that makes a difference)?

Looks like I may be needing a new one as mines badly rusted & I have a fuel leak. I believe this to be my starting problems, but i'm :-\ :-\
If it's leaking on the return then this will cause my problem :( :'(

Post by: big mel on 07 May 2012, 17:15:14: I had the same problem 2yrs ago, the pipes were rotten as mark says the top comes off. fitted new top and smothered it with vaseline to try to keep the rust at bay, so far its working. mel.

Hmmm I had the same idea, but I'm gona use chain lube (only because I get it from work ;D)

Can I ask how much the cost was? Just so I have an idea.
