Title: Yipee, LPG down !
Post by: Ken T on 10 May 2012, 19:48:20: There is a local place in Batley where I have been filling up for a while. They were stable at about 68p/L for months, then it jumped up to 78p/L. I was not happy, however it dropped a couple of weeks ago back to 74p/L and is now at 69.9p/L. Thats an extra £5 per week I save :y :y :y

Is the price dropping all over ?.

It then dropped to 77.9

It's now 75.9 in the last few days

69.9 would be beautiful!

Let's hope the drop continues :D

Local BP is 77.9p, plus 2 new rear tyres...

Sainsburys from 67.9 now 76,9
BP never use them, too much.

They seem to take it in turns around here to do the offers, all of the above is in East London, which is my easiest way of getting into the Capital.

I've noticed unleaded coming down about 5p a litre lately - but are they lulling us into a false sense of security with a 3p duty increase due in August.......

None of the supermarkets within 40 miles do LPG, which is a shame, as Asda and Morrisons do keep prices down.

Post by: PhilRich on 17 May 2012, 20:08:52: The only Shell garage in town has had the LPG tank ripped out in the past month! That still leaves Morrisons & ASDA though and they are matching each others prices within a day or so of any change. Currently 69.9p here :)
