On a happy note. iam a proud dad,my 14 year old daughter entered a compition at her school and she has just won tickets to the olympics this year. :y

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be self-medicating to such an extent that this entirely tedious event will pass by in a delightful haze - I do hope to correspond in clear mind with you all on the other side of it when the nation returns to some sort of sanity and the harsh realisation that we will be paying not only for this, but for the hubris, vain-glory and self-esteem of those who promoted it for some considerable time. :-* :-* :-*
