I need to replace the self levelling shocks on my 02 omega, i saw the guide on changing nonself levelling but would like to keep them original(depending on cost)what difference regarding fitting do i need to be aware of? Any help is always greatly appreciated also anyone got the rough cost of new ones thanks :y

Same as changing standard shocks except for unclipping airline on shock body. £75ea + VAT on TC (trade card)

Will the shocks just pump air back in when line is refitted and engine started or do i need to prime them with air beforehand?

The Haynes manual suggests putting a small amount of air in first, when I did mine I found it usefull to extend them that way as it made getting the mounts to line up far easier !! I must admit it was one of the easier jobs I've done on the Omega ... even given the fact that access to the inside bolts was very limited by the LPG tank !!!
