Hi all, MOT time again so sorting out a few bits. I had the brake pad warning up so decided to cut & join the wires. Did both sides but still have the warning coming up. Any ideas? do i need to re-set anything? Thanks, Dan

Yes, it's still an open circuit somewhere. Try shorting out at the plug in the wheel arch & go from there. ;)

good idea thanks chaps, just checking it didn't need re-setting somehow- i thought not, wheels off again then! My fault for not checking! :-\

Sorry to barge in like this but I also have brake pad warning although the pads are new so I guess the sensor is f... up
What wires need to be cut and joined together

Unplug the black connector, top left in pic, discard the part with the wire that leads to brakepads. Inside the other part of connector you`ll see two "holes" bridge them with a "U" shaped paperclip and tape over to make secure
