Picked up another miggy one from flea bay and would like to put it on the road. But dont know how to go about insuring it as a second car.
first miggy insured with esure very reasonable priced with full no claims discount. If I want to put the other one on the road I need to start with no no claims bonus or do I need to take Admirals multi policy. Is there other companys that do multi policy that I could get a quote for both.

Aviva also do multicar policies. :y

I've got two insured under my name and Mrs VXL V6 has hers insured under her name.
Maybe one day i'll get round to having a multicar policy, it's just a pain as I have business use and unlimited mileage on one vehicle (If I cancel this policy I will have to go on a declared mileage policy as DL don't do the unlimited mileage policy anymore) and the other has just business use on it's policy.
If you have them on seperate policies then you have to have separate no claims... though if you have a claim on one you have to tell them both! ::)

But do you lose no claims on both? I understand that both will load the base premium up ???

Just started my 5th year with Admiral multi car. Both cars are V6's, after some ringing round got them down to £527.03 for the year, 14 years NCD for the Elite and 4 Yeards NCD for the 2.5 GLS.
Each car has a seperate ploicy but the more cars you have the more discounts the extra cars get, but yes the 2nd car starts with 0 NCD and builds up. :y

I've got a 3lt as a second car. I just rang around some of the more specialist insurers and found one which was more than willing to mirror my no claims from the daily on to the Mig. I pay something like 320 fully comp for the mig. Only thing I had to do was send proof of my original NCB on the daily. Sorted.

Aviva just quoted me £584 for the 2 so cannot complain. Now need to get it MOT.
