Title: Pliz Advice. Which oxygen sensor should i replace?
Post by: Kumamoto on 27 May 2012, 12:18:21
I have a 2002 omega 2.2 automatic.
The EML light has been on and when i  took it to a code reader i got the following error codes.

P0141 O2 SENSOR PRESENT.  -004 HEATER  CIRCUIT OPEN
P0036 HO2S HEATED PRESENT.oXYGEN SENSOR- CONTROL CIRCUIT( BANK 1 SENSOR 2)
P0170 fUEL TRIM .  NOT PRESENT- SYSTEM MIXTURE LEAN.

Also though there is no leak on the  car cooling system i have been topping up collant at least every 14 days.
I bought both sensor from Vauxhall and they should arrive this  week so i just want to know which one to replace.
Thanks.

Thanks rob.
I have noticed the omega fuel consumption has gone up considerably...is this because of the failed sensor?

Consumption will increase. As you`ve now ordered the sensors, once fitted clear the codes. If 0170 returns could be a faulty MAF.
