Title: Front Arm Rest

Is it possible to remove just the upper lid of post face lift front arm rest.  Mine is broken on one side where it hinges. I have read some where removal can be made with the use of a nail. Any comments please

NOPE
Only sold as a whole part and prices  are ridiculous

BTW most facelift armrest had the same fate (including mine on previous mig).
Hinges were apparently not so good

Sorry RobG i meant from the dealers.
When I had a facelift went to Opel dealers and really wanted to change the armrest.
Then the seller told me they have to order it and it would be around 400 pounds  ;D  ;D  ;D
My only reply was something like "you're fuc... kidding right about the price?"
Never again went to those dealers again
