Hello everybody,
I would invest into a Tech2 code reader the seller gives warranty for Opels only, which were produced from 1997. Mine is manufactured in 1995 and if I know well there was no any change in produce process till 1998 therefore Tech2 MUST be used with my Miggy. Do you have any experience or opinion about this issue? Any advice welcomed Thx Laszlo

Early cars still ran the Tech1 setup, mine is a '95 and Tech1. I think you can get an adaptor for the plugs between the two types but that is on the Genuine kit

Genuine Vetronix Tech2 will deal with all Omega components, even pre 1997 stuff, expect:
DDE2.0 TD ECU fitted to U25TD engine
Early 2.0l Simtec ECU
IR central locking/alarm

yes....but the legal owners of it are very good at having forums shut down that discuss obtaining / using the illegal ones!
