Title: Oil on spark plugs

Just started servicing my 2.5 V6 noticed oil sat on top of the spark plugs.
Is this normal?
Wanna make sure Its ok, because its going to Europe this week!

If you mean "oil in the plugwells", camcover gasket/s leaking due to blocked crankcase breather system. Check "Maintenance" guide

Oil in spark plug wells is not normal. It means the cam cover gaskets are leaking, if left HT leads can break down & you could easily develop a miss fire. Personally I would not undertake big miles with them leaking.

I agree with the guys above about issue is more than likely cam cover gaskets.

Tunnie I understand exactly what your saying about leaking cam covers. That said I have had instances where people have had leaking cam covers plus cambelt needed replacing.. I would then suggest living with cam covers leaking as that can not ruin your engine, granted over a long period of time leads, dispack could suffer, yet not changing the cambelt could result and has several times in expensive engine repairs.
