Title: Lowering
Post by: horsecow on 29 May 2012, 22:12:23
I'm thinking of lowering my omega and just wanted some advice. I'm looking at a set of weitec springs which will give me 30mm but do I need to uprate/change the shocks as well or do the standard shocks work ok. I'm new to this lowering thing so not sure. I've seen loads posts on here but getting mixed messages really. Any help greatly appreciated.

how low you looking to go

ex police mv6 suspension seems to sit nice and has a good ride also. there is a boy near pomeroy that could prob get you a set. i will send you his number via PM if you want.

If the shocks have covered more than 20-30k, I'd change anyway. 30mm is about the limit of standard shocks, but if the shocks have covered a fair few miles at normal height, they won't respond to well.

Irmscher springs and Bilstein B4 (or better) shocks are a tried and tested combo thats hard to beat.
