Well, where do I start?
Me and the old girl have been together for almost 12 years and reliably covered around 215k miles but the time has come for the parting of the ways!
Why? Although she sailed through her last MoT in April she picked up an 'advisory' for wishbone bushes. I'll tackle many jobs but not this one. So, having roughly priced the job and found the labour charges to be a significant proportion of the value of the car, she is now BER. :'(
So, what's she got that would make you want to buy her?
> Overhauled ABS ECU fitted about eighteen months ago (checkout the How-To guide here - I added to it)
> Heater matrix changed (trapdoor method) - after replacing the HBV didn't work!
> Rocker box gaskets replaced & breathers washed through just a few months ago
> Cam-belt & water pump replaced around the 200k mark
> Replaced leaking A/C HP charging valve - A/C works perfectly again
> Taxed until end of July
I'm sure there's stuff that I've forgotten to include here - just ask, I don't bite!
How much? Ah, the hard bit. How about we start at £750 and see where we go from there?

Over a hundred views and not a single reply?
Wossup people?

some pictures may help tbh.
facelift of minifacelift?.
saloon/estate?

Saloon. And how do I tell if it's a Facelift/Mini-Facelift?

As said, some pics would help and possibly a tad overpriced given the spec & mileage ;)

Easy way, bank of window switches on driver`s door = facelift
-
In that case - "Facelift"! Ta.
I'll take a few pics tonight if the rain holds off.

Ok guys, I give in. How do I load a pic?
And as for the price - it was a "finger in the air" job based upon looking at other miggies on sale. I'm open to offers!

Get pics on Photobucket. Hover over pic, on dropdown box click "IMG Code", box next to it will momentarily flash "copied". Onto the OOF, right click & paste

Thanks Rob!

Ok guys, no takers at £750, let's see if a drop in price to £625 stimulates any interest!
-
Meant to change the title. Without that, nobody's going to take another look, are they!
-
Guess its the mileage as well as the price putting potential punters off mate. Would you honestly pay £625 for a 215K miles car needing new wishbones? :o

Look here (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=103498.msg1295671#msg1295671) - would rather pay a bit more for an 81k car ::)

What was the outcome with the recent bottom end engine rattle, losing oil, and oil pressure light?
http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=103423.msg1295010#msg1295010
If this has been sorted, it would be good to update the thread to that effect. I can see it's not been mentioned so far, so if it's been fixed, it might attract a bit more interest? :y

Quite so James. :y

It isn't a bottom end rattle guys and the oil light only ever flickered on the once - it hasn't done it since.
I'm afraid the leak is still there but my belief is that this is due to my not having cleared the breather's out properly. If I pop the dipstick (to relieve the pressure) the leak stops.
-
Ok guys. No takers. Consensus seems to be the price is too high. So.....
£275 sound better?
-
locking as there is now a duplicate thread also running.
